- The Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarships (Vanier CGS) program was introduced by the Canadian government in 2008 in an effort to draw in and keep top-tier PhD candidates and position Canada as a global hub of excellence in research and higher education. Vanier Scholars exhibit scholarly excellence and leadership qualities while pursuing graduate degrees in the social and humanities, sciences, engineering, or medicine.
Qualified doctoral students can pursue their postgraduate and research studies with the aid of the Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship (Vanier CGS). More than 20 Canadian universities are eligible for the scholarship program.
* Each year, about 166 Vanier CGS scholarships are given out to qualified students.
* Each year, recipients get a Vanier Graduate Scholarship of $50,000 CAD. The scholarship has a three-year renewal period. A particular university must submit the nomination of an eligible applicant for the Vanier CGS in order to study in Canada. Applications for the Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship are accepted starting in April and must be submitted by November. To complete the application process for the Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship, candidates must submit a nomination package.
The Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship Program chooses its recipients based on their academic excellence, aptitude for research, and leadership ability.
the deadline for 2022-2023 is on 1st November, 2022
